Mist42 keeps this policy deliberately plain. It covers the little data this site touches, why we touch it, and the rights you have over it.
The data we hold
When you write to Mist42 about a bralette size, a gift set or a styling consultation, we keep the message itself, the email address you want the answer sent to, and our replies. That is the whole of it: you cannot open an account here, and nobody builds a shopping profile on you.
Purposes
Your details are used for exactly one thing: answering you and handling whatever you asked about. We do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for, and we do not share your details with advertisers.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a small flag remembering that you closed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. It is disclosed only if the law obliges us to, and to no one else.
How long we keep it
An enquiry thread stays in our mailbox while your order or consultation is still open, and for the short spell after delivery in case a piece needs exchanging. Once that is settled, the thread is deleted. The only exception is paperwork such as sales records, which Japanese law requires a business to keep; those are held for the period the law sets and then destroyed.
Access and deletion
Access, correction, deletion, and objection to any use — all of these are yours to request, free of charge. One message through the contact form is enough.
Keeping it safe
Your correspondence lives in an ordinary, access-protected mailbox, readable only by the people who need to answer you.
